A Dogz Journey

Our Dog’s Journey began on June 6, 2006.  He was the first born of a litter of 9 Golden Retriever/Labrador mix puppies.  His mother (Lucee) is a black Labrador and his father was a white Golden Retriever.

He spent 7 happy years with us running, fetching his ball in the back yard and swimming in the pool.  His love for jumping in the pool to catch his ball in mid air was amazing and we laughed with excitement at how he kept going all day long.  When he grew tired he would lay on the grass with his red ball between his 2 front paws.  Go near him and he would pick the ball up and hold it in his mouth for HOURS!

Our beloved dog’s name was BC.  His journey with us ended on September 12, 2013.  We lost BC to cancer. He had a large tumor in his stomach.  It was Labor Day weekend that BC began to show any signs of illness and 2 weeks later he left us. We were by his side as he wagged his tail and took his final breath.  He was telling us he loved us and we were telling him we would see him on the “Rainbow Bridge”.

The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund had approved BC for funding to help with the expensive surgery and treatment that was needed.  However, he passed away very quickly.

In honor and memory of BC a percentage of each sale will be donated to organizations that fund pets with cancer that may not be able to afford the costs associated with this horrible disease.
